In addition to being the official football school of the legendary FC Barcelona Club and the alma mater of football luminaries such as Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Gerard Piqué, to name a few — the academy is a comprehensive learning program that offers a program for youngsters.

The academy, through with its signature brand of football promotes of positive values such as respect, effort, ambition, teamwork and humility. With an aim on holistic development, the academy trains students to be confident, well-adjusted and geared-for-success humans.

At the first training week, the players are bifurcated in accordance to their age categories. From there on, the players are assessed and grouped based on their skill level and technical abilities to achieve the best player development outcomes.
Yes, a special goalkeeping course is programmed which is carried out by a goalkeeper coach at specific training sessions. At Barça,the goalkeeper is considered the 11th on-field player;therefore all goalkeepers also participate in field player exercises during the sessions.
At Barça Academy, the coach to player ratio is 1:12, i.e., at a time,a coach will work hands on with 12 players in each session.
Girls and boys between the ages of 5 to 17 are welcomed to enrol in our academy.
A player needs to wear footwear suitable to the surface and also carry shin guards, labelled water bottle and a tracksuit top/sweatshirt in winter if necessary. Each player must wear an appropriate uniform (provided) for match day or a regular training session
No, unfortunately, at Barça Academy we do not run short-term programmes; it is an annual programme. However, we offer three different payment plan: you can choose any plan based on your convenience such as lump-sum payment or monthly EMIs.

Yes, You can absolutely enroll your girl child, we train girls & boys in our academy between the age of 5 -17 years.
We already have a lot of girls training at our venues.
Payment can be made by either cash/cheque or online transfer. Membership payments are to be made at once upon registration. No instalment option is available. But the player can choose the membership duration as per her/his payment comfort.
No, there is no fee for the experience session.
Yes, we offer the following discounts:
  • Sibling discount – 10% off for the second child.
  • Early bird discount – in the lead of each season, there are early bird discount on offer for registering in advance of the season launch.
  • Girl’s child discount – to encourage girls, we offer fee concession for different cities. For more information, please contact respective city heads.
Please note that this is the season long commitment; no refunds will be provided after the start of programme.
The Course Fee and the Annual Registration Fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances. All Courses, activities and venues are subject to change according to weather, venue availability, a satisfactory level of participants or other factors beyond our control. As such, we may cancel or change any Course, should this be necessary for these reasons. In case a center shuts down for unavoidable reasons, we will use reasonable endeavours to find an alternate center within 3 months of the Football School’s closure. Best efforts would be made to find a center in the vicinity and/or within a 5 km radius. For avoidance of doubt, no refund is permitted for participant’s failure to attend the Course.
The parents are welcomed to stay near the field and watch their children sweating it out on the field. A designated parents’ area is set up at all our centres to give the parents a delightful view of the ongoing training sessions and matches.
No, the Barça Academy training programme does not offer any accommodation at this point.
Yes, we do offer experience session to kids willing to join our academy. Please fill in the registration form or contact the centre of interest with this enquiry and we can arrange an appropriate session for your child to attend.
It is our aim for every child to achieve success at her/his individual as well as a team level. Our coaching staff is specifically trained to pass on how FC Barcelona players are trained. Our specially designed coaching programmes help improve the skill levels of all children.
No, we do not provide any pick and drop facility. But we can guide you about a cab sharing facility with other players in your locality.
Yes; however, it depends on availability in a desired branch for your child’s specific age group. Should you have such an enquiry, please feel free to contact the respective sports advisors to arrange for the transfer or place on a waiting list.
No, Barça Academy is an after-school programme and not a residential academy.
