“More than a Club”, the academy combines legendary coaching methodology with its dominant playing style of possession-based football that has evolved over a100 years. Whether it is for the first team FC Barcelona or at the Barça Academy, this signature football style lies at the core of all training.
The Barça methodology focuses on creating autonomous and imaginative players who display initiative through possession of the ball. The Barça academy lays equal emphasis is laid on their ability to organising themselves in a group to play a good game — through values of humility, effort, ambition, respect and teamwork. 
Generally aimed at players between 4-10 years of age, the pre-initiation stage aims to work on the players’ understanding of the game, motor skills and football technique.
During the Initiation stage players aged primarily between 6 and 12 years, work on their motor skills and technique. The stage also starts laying the foundation of tactical content of the Barça style of play.
The stage sees the building of the players’ individual style and technique while they continue to work on their overall technique. The Formation groups mostly consist of players between the ages of 8-14.
An advanced stage of player development, this stage focuses on the fitness and conditioning of players in addition to their game. Players between the ages of 10-16 generally train in the Pre-Competition groups.
The final stage where players, aged 12-18, move on to optimise all parts of their game to achieve completion of their development as footballers. Talented players training in the Competition stage start playing professionally and graduate to be picked up by football clubs
An inter-centre competition to provide exposure and practice to students through leagues such as Major League, Super League and Pro League
Domestic tournaments with various football academies to enhance the exposure of students and give them an opportunity to be noticed. These include friendlies against PSG Academy India, BBFS Football Schools and RSA, and we have won the RSA cup for the last two years consecutively. Every year we play local tournaments like Pride Cup, Takshila Cup, RSA Cup and Golden League.
